My Brand New Headshot! Photo by Bert Torchia.
Radio: WNEW-FM, WBAI-FM, National Public Radio
Television: All My Children, As The World Turns, USA Up All Night, Comedy Central
Stage: Buddy n' Janice, Last Summer At Bluefish Cove, and some wild play about Elmer Gantry where I played his mother. Can't remember the title!
Lots of sketch comedy and improv all over New York and San Francisco.

I'm a solo performer, actress and playwright. In addition to being "Best of the San Francisco Fringe" in 1995, "I Love Drugs" headlined the 1997 Chicago Solopalooza Festival, where it was named "Critic's Choice." "Cervix With A Smile" was "Best of the San Francisco Fringe" in 1997. In the latter show I played one of my favorite characters, Big Red Berkowitz, who can best be described as a big, loud asshole...the inner me, in other words. I think for a while there I was New York's only straight drag king.
As an actress, most recently I had a featured bit part as a jealous wife by the pool in Kevin Bacon's film "Loverboy," also starring Kyra Sedgewick. And in December 2006 I played a drunken trucker's girlfriend on the television soap opera "All My Children."
My autobiographical solo show, "Size Matters", was presented by the Westbeth Theater Center in 1998.
In 2002 I performed as Janice opposite Austin Pendleton as Buddy in my two-character play "Buddy n' Janice" at HBO, in a reading presented by the National Television Academy of Arts and Sciences. It was such a thrill to act with Austin, and I have to thank Ellen Muir for her continued support of my work.
Besides "All My Children," I have been seen on television as a surly diner waitress in "As The World Turns", Estelle from accounting on "USA Up All Night," and a number of other shows. In film I have acted in "Red Ribbons," "Famous Again," and "Flawless," starring Robert DeNiro and Philip Seymour Hoffman. I played a hooker, believe it or not. The best part was, I almost got to be Philip Seymour Hoffman's stand-in, because I still had long blonde hair and we were approximately the same size! (I should add that he was playing a drag queen.) There's a mind fuck for you...a drag king standing in for a drag queen.

Once again, BUCKY, my miniature pinscher, in his tiny fez.
Thank goodness, he has no show-biz aspirations. But that doesn't mean he doesn't know how CUTE he is!

THE GAY PRIDE PARADE DOWN FIFTH AVENUE IN NEW YORK!
On Sunday, July 26, 2005 I rode on the "Barry Z Show" float in the Gay Pride Parade! Yep, that's me, belting out "Dream Date With Jesus" in front of Saint Patrick's Cathedral! I appeared with the great Mr. Z himself, drag queens Mitzi Gaymore and La Comtessa, songbird Linda Hunt, and many others! It was a blast, and I didn't even get sunburn.
