My plays have been produced in New York, San Francisco and Chicago.
In June 2005, Yankee Rep produced my two-act comedy, "Pledge Break," directed by Aaron Haber, here in New York. Many thanks to Celia Bressack and Chris McGinn, the intrepid producers who weren't afraid to take on a play with a cast of fourteen!
In 2000, the Looking Glass Theater produced my two-character play "Buddy n' Janice."
I am also a widely published journalist, whose work has appeared in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Tagmag.com, among others. My article, "So You Want To Be An Ebay Seller?" retitled, "Holiday Cash In A Flash" was published in the 2005 Holiday Preview issue of AmaZe magazine.

Sad to say, my novels, published by Avonova, are now out of print. BUT you can buy my two comic fantasy novels, "The Devil You Say" and "Strong Spirits" at Amazon.com and at www.abe.com, a great used book exchange.
Booklist had this to say about "Strong Spirits": "At his father's sudden death, Aubrey Octavian Arbuthnot, younger son of a baronet, is left penniless but not completely without resources. He still, for a time, has his manservant, also his skill at darts--at least until they bar him from the club. His real talent, however, lies in latent psychic abilities that come to light when his father's ghost begins to appear to him. In a series of madcap romps through 1928 London, Aubrey encounters uneasy spirits (including a vaudeville entertainer and a frustrated poet), an occultist trying to raise the ghost of an ancient magician, and a mentor willing to teach him the psychic trade. Delightfully British and witty, this lighthearted story affords sophisticated yet uncomplicated fun."

I admit, I hate this cover as much as I love the one for "Strong Spirits," but it's still a very funny book.
Ingram wrote of "Devil": "Hired to bid for the mysterious Book of Shadows at Sotheby's auction house, London psychic Aubrey Arbuthnot discovers that his possession of the work has put a demon on his tail and two maidens in danger."
"The Devil You Say" won BEST FIRST NOVEL from the Locus Poll online, and "Amazing Stories" magazine.
MORE FUNNY STUFF!
In April 2002, Random House published the anthology "Life's A Stitch: The Best of Contemporary Women's Humor," edited by Anne Safrin Dalin. I have an essay, "Intimacy" (how much I suck at it). There are scads of funny women between its pages, including Mary Jo Pehl, Anna Quindlen and Molly Ivins. Since its publication, it has been featured in "Publisher's Weekly," on Joan Rivers's website as one of "Joan's Picks", and was a bestseller according to the Barnes & Noble website! It was also a "Mother's Day" gift pick on several prominent sites.
Since its publication, I performed at the Cornelia Street Cafe as part of a "Life's A Stitch" evening in July 2002 that was incredibly fun for both performers and audience. Many thanks to Anne Dalin!
